Outdoor Fayetteville is an experiential based program designed to offer introductory outdoor recreation opportunities for individuals and families who may not have the equipment or experience needed to enjoy the outdoors.

Outdoor Recreation provides numerous benefits to physical, mental and emotional health. This program will provide an outlet for individuals and families to build stronger relationships and connect with the outdoors while also building new skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.

The Beginner Mountain Biking Class is designed to introduce individuals to the exciting world of mountain biking in Northwest Arkansas. Our instructors from Ozark Off-Road Cyclists (OORC) and Arkansas National Interscholastic Cycling Association (AR NICA) will cover the following aspects: choosing the right bike and safety gear, bike maintenance, trail etiquette, and fundamental riding skills. By addressing these key areas, this class aims to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to enjoy the thrill of mountain biking while prioritizing safety, responsible trail use, and environmental stewardship.

To register for the class, participants must possess basic riding skills. Participants are encouraged to bring their own bikes to the program. However, bikes may be provided upon request for individuals 8 and older, taking into consideration the size of our available bikes.
