Ride to the Hill to Welcome Bobby Petrino
Month Week Day
Date:
04/13/24 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
Duration:
10 Hours

This ride will take place across all of Arkansas and is intended to bring together two passions with many people in our state.
• Riding Motorcycles
• Arkansas Football
Every year, many riders in the state of Arkansas are waiting for warmer temps as spring begins to blossom.
With basketball season ending in March, many are looking toward the beginning of summer and open roads to enjoy the rides. At that same time, The University of Arkansas is gearing up for spring football practices.
Every year at the end of the spring practice schedule, The U of A Razorbacks hold their annual Red-White Game. (The date is usually announced in Feb but the game is traditionally held in mid-April on a Saturday at Noon).
Our purpose for this ride will be to allow many excited riders to take advantage of the warming weather with a ride to Fayetteville to watch the spring Red/White game.
We expect to facilitate multiple starting locations around the state, all converging at a central point in Ozark, AR., close to the start of (Hwy 23) The Pig trail.
The plan is for all bikes to ride up the Pig Trail together and on to Razorback Stadium for the culmination of the event with bike parking and vendors set up with products and food.
Once the game begins, Riders will also be able to watch the scrimmage as a free event.
This is a one-day event, but we expect some to travel in, staying either at the original starting locations or in the area close to the end of the ride.
It's the organizer's intention to provide a safe, fun ride and event to cheer on the return of Bobby Petrino and the beginning of a tremendous summer of practice leading into the 2024 football season.
