Frost Fest, Arkansas’ largest outdoor beer festival, will return to the Washington County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025, bringing together over 3,000 craft beer enthusiasts for an afternoon of tasting, live music, local art, and community support.
Founded in 2016 by Fossil Cove Brewing Co., Frost Fest has become one of the state’s premier winter events, showcasing more than 50 breweries from the Ozarks and beyond. The festival will run from 1 to 6 p.m., offering two ticket tiers: Early Entry and General Admission. Early Entry tickets allow attendees to access the grounds at 1 p.m., while General Admission ticket holders can enter at 2 p.m. Both ticket types include a commemorative sampling glass.
In addition to sampling a wide range of craft beers, attendees can enjoy food from local trucks, browse booths from area vendors, and experience live performances from regional bands. Frost Fest is also a major fundraiser for local nonprofits, with a portion of ticket sales benefiting Apple Seeds, Arkansas Brewers Guild, Arkansas Climbers Coalition, and the Ozark Highlands Trail Association.
“Frost Fest is more than just a beer festival – it’s a celebration of community and the spirit of Fayetteville,” said Andrew Blann of Fossil Cove. “Thanks to the support of attendees and partners, we’re able to make a meaningful impact on the organizations that support our region.”
Last year, Frost Fest raised $55,000 for local nonprofits, a record-breaking amount that festival organizers aim to surpass in 2025.
Frost Fest will be held rain, snow, ice, or shine, and attendees are encouraged to dress warmly for this outdoor event. Tickets are limited, and organizers expect another sell-out year.

Gather your Krewe, make a cool costume, and get ready to do some reveling, revelers. It’s time to “laissez les bon temps rouler.”
Of course we are talking about Fayetteville’s Mardi Gras, set to return to downtown Fayetteville this winter for the 32nd annual Parade of Fools on Saturday, March 1.
This year’s parade will wind its way from the Fayetteville square, and then down Block Avenue and Dickson Street with costumes, floats, and beads. This year’s parade Grand Marshal is TBA.
The King and Queen of Fayetteville Mardi Gras this year will be Dirk & Julie Thibodeaux of the Krewe of Agape.
Fat Tuesday festivities will take place on March 4th.
LISA Academy host 11th Annual Arkansas STEM Festival to celebrate science, technology, engineering and math in Fayetteville. Tens of exploration stations will provide hands-on activities that bring opportunity for engagement and exchange between children, teens, families, and local STEM professionals.
The Annual Arkansas STEM Festival is the premier free admission STEM showcase in the state of Arkansas and certainly has much to offer for students and adults alike. Schools from across the state bring their students to present and view the 100+ demonstrations on display, and with the countless benefits for the students it’s no wonder why. Students have the extremely valuable opportunity to get up on stage and present their demonstration to a large audience of their peers. This “share and shine” experience allows students to improve their communication and presenting skills in a formal scientific environment at a young age.
STEM, Science Technology Engineering and Math, is rapidly becoming one of the most important set of skills in the workforce and education alike. Through the STEM Festival, students have, among other things, used science to perform mind blowing tricks, technology and engineering to automate everyday tasks, and have found ways to make math a more exciting experience than ever before. While numerous students come to show off their computer science and programming demonstrations, there is a place for everyone at the Arkansas STEM Festival.
