Summer Reading Kickoff at FPL!

Make the library a part of your summer! Join us to kick off the fun and register for our summer reading challenge.

It's our biggest party of the year and you're invited! Join us for family fun from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This year's lineup includes the Amazeum, Community Creative Center's Wheel Mobile, Big Poppa Bubble, an Amazing Lego Layout by ArkLUG and Fayetteville Fire Department.

We'll have bounce houses, pizza, popcorn, lemonade and popsicles. Inspyral Circus will close out the fun at 1 p.m. with a performance in the Event Center. Kick off a summer of reading and fun at FPL!

And don't forget to register for our summer reading challenge starting May 1!

Inspyral Circus - Summer Reading Kickoff

Inspyral Circus is a Fayetteville favorite! As a part of our summer kick off event, Inspyral Circus will perform to close out the fun-filled day!

Bring your family to a morning of fun including Big Poppa Bubble, the Amazeum, an Amazing Lego Layout, the Fayetteville Fire Department, glitter tattoos, bounce houses, and food. After you take in all of the fun, stick around for an amazing performance by Inspyral Circus.

5th Annual Her Set Her Sound Festival

On June 6th & 7th, Her Set Her Sound will host our 5th festival at Prairie Street Live and the surrounding street blocks.

We provide this groundbreaking experience for music lovers and artists historically overlooked and excluded from festivals to come together, belong, and breathe freely.

An art-infused series of Friday evening “compact creativity festivals” that will take place in the Ramble. Kick off the weekend with a burst of creativity and fun! The WEST series is being held in conjunction with the University of Arkansas Department of Music.

Music performers will celebrate the musical diversity found at the university. Concerts will feature jazz trios, Brazilian and Afro-Cuban music, Ozark ballads, classical ensembles, rock songs, medieval music and more!

Attendees can expect a lively atmosphere where they can unwind after a busy work week, enjoy strolling through the beautiful natural area and engage with their local arts community.

Bring a picnic blanket or lawn chairs to enjoy the performances and stay awhile. Arriving via the Razorback Greenway is encouraged, but parking is available at the West Avenue Parking Deck.

The series is free, open to the public and all ages are welcome.
