The Arkansas Pottery Festival returns for a fourth year to the Community Creative Center in downtown Fayetteville, the first weekend of May.

This annual event packs all things pottery into a 3-day weekend full of demonstrations, presentations, showcases, and sales - all of which is free and open to the public.

This exciting 3 day weekend will include pottery demonstrations and lectures by nationally recognized artists Brad Schwieger and Lorna Meaden on Friday and Saturday, an exhibition and pottery sale of over 50 potters from around the region, as well as a display of Masterworks from Private Collections. Saturday night, Kingfish Bar will be hosting the Potters After Party with a live band. Vendor booths will include the Clay Bank, the Museum of Native American History and the Arkansas Archeological Survey.

Locals love the handmade flowerpot fundraiser, with a wide selection of affordable handmade planters and locally grown plants. Get there early to purchase the perfect handmade planter, planted with a beautiful, complimentary flowering plant. A perfect Mother’s Day Gift!
