Join us at the Music Industry Meet Up to network and learn more about opportunities and what is happening in NWA.

The Music Industry Meet Up is a networking and service expo, consisting of artist and musicians, as well as service providers and non-Music artists that work alongside them within the industry.

This class is great for beginners, or anyone that needs a refresher on navigation fundamentals. The class will be approximately 2 hours and includes both classroom and field exercises for developing reliable navigation skills. No experience or equipment is needed, though, if you own a compass, bring it with you.

CreativeMornings/Fayetteville seeks to be a space for connection and community as Northwest Arkansas continues to grow. We welcome creative people from all walks of life to be inspired by stories shared by fellow Arkansans and to enjoy delicious coffee and breakfast foods provided by local businesses. Creative Mornings/Fayetteville is a monthly breakfast series for the creative community in NWA.

About the speaker:
Jessica Lewallen is a licensed architect and multidisciplinary designer in Northwest Arkansas with over 20 years of experience, and founder of GEMSTONE design studio. She has worked on a wide variety of design projects across the US in a variety of contexts: from master planning to small scale building design and interiors…even logo and website design. In her free time, Jessica can be found cycling on the Razorback Greenway, enjoying live music, and trying out new restaurants around the area!

The Denim Day Fashion Show returns for its second annual event, bringing advocacy and creativity together for an evening of fashion with a purpose. This impactful runway show will feature designs from over 20 local and student designers, each using donated denim from Goodwill to create unique looks and raise awareness about sexual assault and sexual violence.

Cost: Free and open to the public

This class is the next level above our Basic Map & Compass Clinic. We'll introduce coordinate systems and learn how to plot UTM as well as advanced terrain association techniques with and without GPS assistance. Some basic experience is recommended, but not mandatory; attending the basic class is a great way to prepare.
