This Yoga 101:The Basics workshop is for beginners or someone who has never taken a yoga class but has always been interested. Have you been scared to walk into a yoga studio or class due to the fear of not knowing the lingo or poses? This workshop is for you!

We will go over basic breathwork/breathing exercises that can be used on and off the mat. Including breakdown/review of the basic yoga poses you might hear in a typical class, there will be light yoga flow + physical movement.

What to Expect:
Hour 1 - Intro to (Nose) Breathing, starting with seated movement coordinated with breath. Intro to 3 Part Breath and Sun A Variation, Down Dog, Table Top, Child's Pose.

Hour 2 - Intro to Sama Vritti “Box Breathing” and Intro to Warrior Poses, Cool Down Options and Savasana.
