It’s time to make your way to Tuscaloosa, Alabama where you’ll cheer on the Arkansas Razorbacks against The University of Alabama’s Crimson Tide. Whether it’s your first trip to T-Town or a long-standing tradition, we can’t wait to welcome you here! Where To Stay The game kicks off at 11:00, which means you’ll have to round up fellow Hogs fans early for a tailgate party before you head into Bryant Denny Stadium. Reserve your hotel room for Friday night now to make the most of an early start on Saturday morning.   Of course, downtown Tuscaloosa offers great stays within an easy walk of campus and even easier access to most of the city’s greatest restaurants and entertainment venues.  Embassy Suites The Alamite Hotel Indigo AC Hotel Many well-established hotel chains are spread along the I-59/20 exits, allowing a quick drive around the city to reach downtown.  Where To Eat If you’re looking for a taste of home, Fayetteville’s own Slim Chickens’ explosive growth has reached Tuscaloosa. For other familiar eats, look no further than Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, Mellow Mushroom or Newk’s Eatery for a meal you know and love.  But if you’re hungry for flavor native to Tuscaloosa, it’s time to dig in.  Buffalo Phil’s Urban Bar & Kitchen Archibald & Woodrow’s BBQ Taco Casa For additional fun, explore the delights and easily find something for everyone in your group at the many local food trucks set up on campus or nearby on game days.  What To Do There’s no action like game day action on campus! From UA’s traditions to the Paul W. Bryant Museum to the loads of people watching in between, there is no down time before kickoff. If you haven’t been to the museum yet, enjoy the history and relics that keep the legend of Coach Bear Bryant alive and well.  Tailgating is the mainstay of gameday. Free spots on the Quad are on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to have your plan ready to go! Set up your basecamp for all of your fun then be ready for the Walk of Champions two hours before kickoff and then back over to the Quad to take in the Million Dollar Marching Band perform the Elephant Stomp on the steps of the Gorgas Library.  UA Gameday is your essential source for the best information for navigating campus, reserving parking and finding stadium info.  Where To Park  If you have a room downtown, you have some of the best parking available in Tuscaloosa on a Saturday. Enjoy the walk or contact JoyRide or Bama Ride for golf cart transportation that gets you closer to the destination. Free public parking is available in the Downtown Intermodal Facility deck and fills up fast, so arrive early for great parking and enjoy dinner at Heat Pizza Bar, located at street level, before heading home or back to your room.  Other nearby locations allow gameday parking for $20/vehicle, such as DCH employee lot or public schools. Check out uagameday.com for more information and maps to these locations.  If you’d rather avoid driving closer to campus, free parking is available at University Mall with your $20 cash going toward shuttle rides to and from campus.
