Fall-Tastic Fayetteville

Author: Somewhere in Arkansas

In my opinion, Fayetteville, Arkansas, is an absolute must-visit destination in the fall. It is such a picturesque town any time of year, but it truly comes alive when the weather cools, and the trees begin to show fall color. The town square is a perfect place for leisurely strolls and cozy cafe visits. The extensive network of bike trails offers a spectacular way to experience the beauty of the season. A visit to Rivercrest Orchard, where you can pick apples, take photos in a sunflower field, or find your way out of a corn maze, is truly an Autumn delight. Fall in Fayetteville is an unforgettable experience.

McGarrah Farms Rivercrest Orchard

Stop 2: McGarrah Farms Rivercrest Orchard

If you are in Fayetteville in the fall, you have got to visit Rivercrest Orchard. This is one of the best "pumpkin patches" I have ever been to. It offers so much more than pumpkins! They have tons of family-friendly activities, such as a train ride, slides, jump pads, a corn maze, and more. There are also sunflower fields which are perfect for photos. If you are hungry, they also have some concession stands. Enjoy!

Fayetteville Historic Downtown Square

Stop 3: Fayetteville Farmer's Market & Historic Square

You will love walking the pretty and quirky town square in downtown Fayetteville. Historic old buildings are filled with wonderful shops and restaurants. Fashionistas will love RiffRaff, and Razorback fans should definitely stop into City Supply. The Dickson Street Book Store should be a must-stop for the readers in your group. Mostly you will want to just stroll around and enjoy the pretty gardens and fun ambiance of downtown Fayetteville.
