Holiday Shopping Markets in Fayetteville

Fayetteville is an eclectic town full of artists, makers, quirky shops and fun food stops. Whether you enjoy a boutique experience, prefer unique art and handmade goods or are looking for something for the weird uncle on your list, Fayetteville has a little something for everyone.

Beyond the shops, many flock to the holiday markets to make shopping a full-day, fun experience in itself. Searching for the perfect gift doesn’t have to be a burden when you’re sipping hot chocolate and surrounded by lights, art and fun people. Here’s a list of a few of our favorite holiday shopping events coming up in Fayetteville, AR this year:

The Little Craft Show

Nov 30 – Dec 1, at the Fayetteville Town Center
The Little Craft Show is an annual event that features hand-made art, crafts, home decor and edible creations from more than 100 makers from around Northwest Arkansas and the surrounding region. Nerd Prom and Wampus Wonderland Holiday Craft Show

Nerd Prom December 7, 6pm-9pm at The Hilton Garden Inn
Wampus Wonderland, December 8, 10am – 4pm, at the Hilton Garden Inn
The Wampus Wonderland Holiday Craft Show features a variety of original works and hand-crafted items that would make unique and possibly outrageous gifts for family, friends or maybe even yourself this holiday season. This year's show will also feature the first annual Nerd Prom, an exclusive shopping event and party featuring music by DJ Clunk (Chris Selby), drinks, cosplay, prizes and a special appearance by Krampus, the Christmas goat monster, who is the Wampus Wonderland mascot.  Get more info on the Cattywampus Co-op website.

Holly Jolly Junk Ranch

November 30 – December 1 at the Junk Ranch
Grab a cup of hot cocoa and shop under the twinkling lights with over 45 junkers, makers and artisans at this festive event. There will be vintage Christmas items, handmade goods, gift-giving merchandise, home decor and more! Meet Santa on Saturday from 10am-2pm. Handmade Open House

Saturday, December 1, 11am-2pm - At the Handmade Market|
Kick off the holiday season at the Handmade Market with a day full of food, shopping and discounts. From cards to cardamom syrup, to scents, homegoods and textiles, you can find perfect gifts for everyone on your list. Ozark Natural Foods Winter Market

Dec 1 – March, at Ozark Natural Foods Homestead
The Fayetteville Farmers Market moves into their winter home on Dec. 1, and will be open inside the Ozark Natural Foods homestead every Saturday from 9am – 1pm through March. During the month of December, several market vendors will offer gift items as part of their annual holiday market. Learn more about the winter market here.

Alternative Gift Market

December 2, at St. Pauls Episcopal Church
The Alternative Gift Market offers an unusual and timely alternative to the frenzy and stress of gift shopping. Stop in on December 2, and donate to a cause or purchase free-trade gifts supporting humanitarian and environmental causes in honor of a loved one, friend or colleague. December 7, 5pm-8pm – at participating Block Street Businesses
It’s our favorite time of year to remind you to shop local, and thank you for supporting all our Block Street retailers with a 10% discount! Block street businesses will all be open for a Friday evening shopping event, with holiday open houses, hot drinks, and a shared receipt discount of 10%! The Holiday Art Sale

December 7-9, at Fenix Fayetteville Gallery – 545 W. Center St.
The Holiday Art Sale is the oldest running holiday art sale in Northwest Arkansas. It’s known for the exceptional quality and variety of work, ranging from textile, paper and photographic art to award-winning ceramics, watercolors, encaustics and jewelry. Fayetteville Funky Yard Sale Holiday Open House

December 9, 1pm-5pm at the Fayetteville Funky Yardsale
Join the fun at the annual Holiday open house! Enter into lots of giveaways throughout the day and snack on yummy treats and holiday snacks while you shop. The Grinch at Fayetteville Trading Post

November 29 – December 24, at the Fayetteville Trading Post
The Grinch is hiding somewhere in one of our booths in plain sight. If you find him and “save Christmas” we will give you a free $25 Gift Certificate. Great for your holiday shopping or a gift for someone special! The Fayetteville Trading post is an upscale resale flea market located off of College Avenue in the heart of Fayetteville.
