Lights of the Ozarks | Now - Jan 1 | Free

If you’re only going to make it to one holiday event this year, be sure that it’s Lights of the Ozarks! See the historic downtown square lit up in a dazzling array of 500,000 lights and you’ll understand why it’s an annual destination for so many visitors. Get the full experience by grabbing some food, sipping a drink in Fayetteville’s ORA, visiting with Santa, and taking the perfect holiday selfie under the lights.

Stewart Family Christmas Light Display | Now - Jan 3 | $

This local family owned and operated display features over 3,000,000 lights and several hundreds of inflatables. Enjoy the lighted walk-through pathway and drop off a letter to Santa! This light display is a local treat and well worth the admission.

Holiday Markets | Now - Dec 19

Fayetteville is a destination for holiday market enthusiasts, and this year we’re full to the brim with pop-up markets and returning favorites. Check out the entire list for some quirky, funky, unique options to do your holiday shopping this year. Shop local feels different when you’re face-to-face with the maker!

Holidaze | Now - Dec 23

This spectacularly festive pop-up bar has two locations: Walton Arts Center (all ages) and Block Avenue (21+). It is literally impossible to not feel holly and jolly after a visit to either of these seasonally themed bars! With craft cocktails, over-the-top decorations, and 24/7 Christmas vibes, this one is a can’t miss.

TheatreSquared’s A Christmas Carol | Dec 3 - Dec 26 | $

A theatrical re-imagining of Charles Dickens’ classic for all ages, performed at the Fayetteville Public Library. Brimming with stage magic and holiday cheer!

Celebrate Hanukkah | Dec 4 | Free

Join Temple Shalom at the Fayetteville Public Library to celebrate Hanukkah with a dreidel game and sufganyot (donut holes!). The perfect chance for families to celebrate or learn Hanukkah traditions.

Santa Drop | Dec 4 | Free

Santa and his elves will be parachuting into Drake Field at the Arkansas Air and Military Museum! Throw your Christmas wishes at Santa Claus via paper airplane.

Rick’s Bakery Reindeer Cake Class | Dec 4 | $

Local favorite Rick’s Bakery is teaching a series of kid friendly cake-decorating classes, and this reindeer-themed class is up first!

Santa’s Breakfast | Dec 4 | $

TheatreSquared’s holiday-themed breakfast buffet, complete with a souvenir craft station for kids, a photo op with Santa, and a local goodies gift giveaway.

NWA Makers Auction | Dec 5 

Holidaze on Block is hosting this live auction to benefit Peace at Home Family Shelter. Local makers have handcrafted oversized ornaments that are available for sale. No cover.

Public Menorah Lighting | Dec 5 | Free

This annual lighting ceremony takes place on the historic downtown square at the Fayetteville Town Center. Latkes, donuts, drinks, and more!

Advent Lessons & Carols | Dec 5 | Free

St. Paul’s adult choir is inviting the public to join them to sing songs of reflection and joyful expectation. All are welcome!

Annual Nog Off Competition | Dec 6 | $

Holidaze at the Walton Arts Center is hosting this festive competition where you can sip on an eggnog flight and vote for your favorite! Proceeds benefit the Fayetteville Independent Restaurant Association and Walton Arts Center education programming.

Rick’s Bakery Christmas Wreath Cake Class | Dec 8 | $

The second event in local favorite Rick’s Bakery series of kid friendly cake-decorating classes.

White Elephant 5K | Dec 11 | $

This inaugural holiday race weaves through iconic Fayetteville landmarks, past the Lights of the Ozarks, Santa Claus, carolers, and some “white elephant” surprises.

Skate with Santa | Dec 11 | $

Santa Claus is coming to Starlight Skatium’s rink! Bring your camera and get laced up for a few laps with Santa and his elves. Perfect for all ages.

The third event in local favorite Rick’s Bakery series of kid friendly cake-decorating classes.

A Very SoNA Christmas | Dec 11 | $

The symphony will perform a mix of sacred and secular holiday favorites with local guest soloists, The SoNA Singers, and area high school and collegiate choruses. Matinee and evening performance options!

The Snowman: A Family Concert | Dec 12 | $

The tradition continues! Walton Arts Center and the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas are presenting a special screening of The Snowman, with the original score performed live by SoNA. It’s sure to be a merry and bright afternoon performance!

Santa Visits Holidaze | Dec 13 | $

Get a professional picture with the big guy himself at Holidaze’s Walton Arts Center location! Plus, meet Mrs. Claus and get a Christmas cookie from Santa.

Rick’s Bakery Gingerbread House Decorating | Dec 18 | $

The fourth event in local favorite Rick’s Bakery series of kid friendly cake-decorating classes.

Jingle Bell Jog | Dec 18 | $

Runners and walkers of all levels are encouraged to wear their silliest holiday garb - anything that sparkles and jingles is particularly encouraged. Elf ears, holiday headbands, festive leggings - the tackier, the better! The whole family is invited to participate in this all-ages event.

Hot Cocoa Social | Dec 18 | Free

A magnificent hot cocoa bar with all of the fixin's: peppermint sticks, chocolate shavings, marshmallows, and a few additional goodies. Kids craft stations will also be provided.

Radiant Rubyesque Productions presents: Santa’s Naughty List | Dec 19 | $

Holidaze on Block invites you to get ready for a bit of seasonal naughtiness with regional burlesque performers.

The Polar Express Film Screening | Dec 23 | $

Two screening times available of this magical film that follows a young boy who embarks on a magical adventure to the North Pole on the Polar Express, while learning about friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas.

Holidazzle Drag Show | Dec 29 | $

Holidaze on Block will showcase some queens bringing the seasonal sparkle, featuring Kiera Maserati, Umami Origami, Faux L’Beau and Ella Rosa.

New Year’s Eve Party for Old People | Dec 31 | Free

Crisis Brewing is opening special hours New Year's Eve from 2-8 with a free champagne toast at 6:00 with the London Ball Drop. Other surprises in store!
