112 Drive-In open for 2018 season

Fayetteville is home to one of the few remaining drive-in theaters left in Arkansas. In fact, there are only about 330 left in the entire United States.

Located at 2552 Highway 112, the 112 Drive-In Theatre is one of the most popular things to do in Fayetteville, as it harks back to an almost-forgotten era of cinema history, allowing guests to travel back in time while enjoying the newest movies from Hollywood, as well as some of its classics.

The 2018 season starts March 16, and will run through October.

Movies are shown every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night from now until summer. During the summer, movies are shown every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. The box office opens around 6:30 p.m., and the silver screen lights up around 7 p.m. A full concession stand is available.

Only cash is accepted, but you get two movies for the price of one as guests are encouraged to stay for the second feature. Tickets are $9 for adults and kids 13 and older, $4 for ages 6-12 and free for kids 5 and younger. Try to beat that deal!

Whether you’re planning a family outing or a date night, the 112 Drive-In is the perfect choice. Watch in the comfort of your car, or pop open some lawn chairs. No matter with whom or how you watch, seeing the stars under the stars makes for a great memory.
