For the second year in a row, Fayetteville was named one of the top five best places to live in America by U.S. News & World Report.

Of course, what makes Fayetteville a great place to live also makes it one of the best weekend getaways! With year-round events, live music and the best nightlife in Northwest Arkansas, an amazing culinary scene, boutique shopping and attractions for all ages, it’s no wonder Fayetteville has been garnering national attention as a travel destination.

This year, Fayetteville was ranked as the fifth best city to live in the 2017 U.S. News “Best Places To Live.” Others in the top five were Austin, Texas; Denver, Co.; San Jose, Calif.; and Washington, D.C.

According to U.S. News, cities were ranked on affordability, job prospects and quality of life. They also factored in a public survey, U.S. Census Bureau data and rankings of the best high schools and hospitals.
