Every fall, Razorback fans travel to Fayetteville to watch the Hogs play football. College game day is a staple of American culture, especially in the South and SEC, but the weekend fun is much more than a Saturday battle on the gridiron. Besides tailgating and cheering at Reynolds Razorback Stadium, here are some of the most popular traditions and things to do Friday through Sunday while in Fayetteville for a football game.

Just Kids and Experience Fayetteville are currently accepting proposals from Fayetteville-based artists (artists either residing in or actively involved in the Fayetteville art community) to participate in a public art event to be held during the final week of August 2017 by creating original artwork (sculpture, installation, mural).

The University of Arkansas Razorbacks are hosting one of the NCAA Regional Tournaments in Fayetteville this coming weekend as part of the Division I Baseball Championship. Missouri State University, Oklahoma State University and Oral Roberts University will be coming to town to compete against the Hogs for a spot in the College World Series in Omaha.

With each team guaranteed to play both Friday and Saturday, and possibly Sunday and Monday, many fans will be staying in Fayetteville until their team’s season ends — or until they head to the Super Regionals June 9-12.

The Northwest Arkansas Pride Parade and Festival, the largest LGBTQ pride celebration in Arkansas, will be held in Fayetteville on Saturday, June 24, in conjunction with Northwest Arkansas Pride Week, which features daily events June 18-25.

Enjoy the amazing winter wonderland of lights on the Downtown Square beginning Friday, November 17th at 6 p.m. with the lighting night parade.

The lights illuminate the square each evening from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Nightly carriages and pony rides, fresh hot chocolate and festive holiday music make the Lights of the Ozarks an event that cannot be missed.
