Forty-five years after its original release, The Who’s ‘Tommy', a masterpiece of the American songbook, has now been fully realized as a full-length bluegrass tribute featuring Springfield, Missouri’s The HillBenders. The live performance is a full 75-minute show covering the original album from start to finish with audience participation.
The show will open with Maybe April, a Country Americana trio made up of Katy Bishop, Kristen Castro, and Alaina Stacey. Tickets are $15-$25 and can be purchased at faulkner.uark.edu or by calling the Box Office at 479-575-5387. Box Office hours are Monday through Friday, 1:30-5 p.m.
Faulkner Performing Arts Center
Completed in September 2015, this world-class performing arts center provides a seating capacity for up to 587 patrons. The Faulkner Performing Arts Center is the main performance venue for the university’s musical organizations and hosts guest musical activities for the university and Northwest Arkansas community. The University of Arkansas is located in downtown Fayetteville, AR and is nestled in the Ozark mountains.
