Firefly Fling at Botanical Garden of the Ozarks

One of Fayetteville’s most cherished summer outings, the Firefly Fling at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks, will be held Saturday, July 21 from 6-10pm.

The event is a magical night for the whole family. Come dressed in woodland creature or fairy attire, and don’t forget your imagination! There will be a range of engaging events throughout the evening, including fairy house building, obstacle courses, giant bubbles, nature stations, crafts and more!

Once it's dark out, glowing games will be offered for the family, and fairies will even be granting wishes to children in the gardens. Guests who choose to stay until the sun goes down will get to watch glow-in-the-dark performances and fire dancing, as well as the finale, “Community Wishes.”

Food trucks will be on hand, but guests also will have the option to bring their own blanket picnics. The Firefly Shoppe will be selling fairy wings, wands, glow sticks and other festival items if costumes want to be bought or souvenirs taken home.

BGO asks that no glass, alcohol, firearms or pets be brought into the event, which will be held rain or shine (tickets are non-refundable). Tickets can be purchased now on bgozarks.org. Come experience the whimsy that is the Firefly Fling!
