Bark Bash

Saturday, July 7, will be a tail-wagging good time at the Fayetteville Town Center on the Historic Downtown Square.

At the first ever Bark Bash, which will be held 1-4 p.m., dog lovers and their furry friends can enjoy a day of meeting fellow pet owners, shopping from local pet-friendly vendors and even meet up with adoption agencies as well as pet rescue centers from the Fayetteville area.

The event is FREE, but guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet. Attendees bring pets must also fill out a waiver, which can be completed by registering in advance online.

With the event situated on the downtown square, grab a group of your pals and pets to enjoy a bite to eat before or after the event. Whether that be one-of-a-kind toast from Arsaga’s on Church, a tea-time treat from Savoy Tea or a sub sandwich from Loafin’ Joes, there are plenty of options to enjoy nearby with patios for your dog.

If you would rather walk around with your pup, there are several shops to explore in the downtown square as well. City Supply gift shop, Riffraff clothing store and The Mustache Goods & Wears offer a variety of fun finds, and your dog may even be able to find something, too.
