Fayetteville Foam Fest

Fayetteville is Northwest Arkansas’ craft beer capital, as it’s home to several local breweries, bar crawls and a whole community of beer lovers. On Saturday, May 12 from 5-8 pm., the annual Fayetteville Foam Fest offers festival goers the opportunity to sample a large selection of beers from local, regional and national breweries.

This annual event is one of the most popular things to do in Fayetteville. Being held at the Fayetteville Town Center, located on the Historic Downtown Square, Foam Fest takes place in the heart of Fayetteville, with restaurants, shopping and nightlife opportunities all around. It’s easy to spend the entire day soaking up the best of Fayetteville.

Fyaetteville Foam Fest features live music, local food trucks and beer from more than 50 breweries. Some of the featured breweries include Lost Forty from Little Rock, Independence from Austin, Texas, and Core and Apple Blossom from right here in Fayetteville!

Both Core and Apple Blossom are stops on the Fayetteville Ale Trail, a self-guided tour of the finest microbreweries in Northwest Arkansas — including a cidery, too!

Before the festival begins, the square will be active with the Fayetteville Farmers’ Market, featuring local, farm-fresh produce and treats, as well as crafts from local vendors. Shopping around the square is superb, with some of the best spots to shop, including boutiques like Riffraff and Good Things Boutique.

Before or after the event, be sure to check out local restaurants like Tiny Tim’s and Damgoode Pies, because what goes better with beer than pizza? After Foam Fest, indulge in the live music and nightlife on Dickson Street, just a short walk from the festival.
