Hero Tales Hangar Party with Barrett Baber

Soldier ON Service Dogs presents its 2nd Annual Hero Tales Hangar Party fundraiser hosted by Jack and Angela Pestello. The event takes place at the Arkansas Air & Military Museum at Drake Field in Fayetteville on March 10th, from 6-11pm.

This year’s party, “Red, White & Blue Jeans,” will take place in an all-wood airplane hangar featuring some of the nation's only surviving varieties of aircraft and world-famous replicas. BBQ, beer and wine will be available for attendees, as well as museum tours and silent and live auctions. Following the auctions will be a heartwarming tribute to the lifetime achievements of selected veterans and a much anticipated musical performance by Arkansas-native, country singer Barrett Baber.

Baber finished 3rd Place Overall on the 9th season of NBC’s The Voice, and is known locally for singing KNWA's TV theme song “Razorback Game Day.” Baber’s original song titled “Still Stands” from his album A Room Full of Fighters is a tribute to the memory of Staff Sergeant Robert Pirelli, who was tragically killed in action in Iraq in 2007, making the country music star a good fit for an event created to honor veterans and raise funds to support local veteran-service dog organization, Solider ON Service Dogs, Inc.

Prior to Baber's performance, a limited number of guest will be able to attend a VIP reception and experience Baber’s talent in a more relaxed intimate setting, with photo ops and an opportunity to meet the singer.

Serious country music fans will be thrilled to participate in the live auction, featuring items such as studio time with hit-song maker Kenny Lamb (Baber’s manager/producer). Lamb is a multi-platinum songwriter and producer whose credits and collaborations include N’Sync, Justin Timberlake, Jason Aldean, The Backstreet Boys, Little Big Town, Rhett Akins, Building 429, Barrett Baber, Mark Collie and many others.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Soldier ON Service Dogs, a non-profit agency located in Fayetteville, AR. Soldier ON provides trained service dogs at no cost to veterans of Northwest Arkansas who have been diagnosed with service-related PTSD and/or Traumatic Brain Injuries.
