Fayetteville Mardi Gras

Fayetteville Mardi Gras celebrates its 27th anniversary of merriment and mayhem this year! The Fat Saturday Parade of Fools kicks off at 2pm on Saturday, February 10th.

The parade is a long-standing tradition filled with costumes, floats, and beads. This year's Grand Marshal is Dixie Rhyne, the founder of Fayetteville Mardi Gras.

This family-friendly event is fun to watch and even more fun to participate in. Winding from the historic downtown Fayetteville Square down Block and Dickson Streets, there is plenty of room to watch the parade go by. You may even be able to catch the parade from a restaurant or bar along Dickson street.

Come shake off the winter blues at Northwest Arkansas’ most colorful tradition…let the good times roll! To enter a float into the parade, sponsor the event, or register as a volunteer, check out www.fayettevillemardigras.com.
