Explore Fayetteville with VeoRide Bikeshare

A great way to explore Fayetteville is to enjoy the new VeoRide bikeshare program. Ride the Razorback Greenway and many trails within the city, or simply get around town, by using these fun bikes.

VeoRide works through its mobile app and website. It allows users to locate, reserve and unlock available bikes at designated areas throughout the city. The program includes regular bikes and electronic bikes, or e-bikes. This video shows how it works:

Bicycles will be available for pickup in and around the downtown area, along city trails, on the university campus and at other locations within a certain radius, in which the bikes can only operate. Inside the app, users can see a map that shows exactly where available bikes are located.

You can’t miss the fleet, just look for the uniquely branded bikes: regular ones feature Razorback colors and logos of the University of Arkansas, city and Experience Fayetteville, and the e-bikes are teal!

VeoRide is offering five free riding coupons (worth $2.50 in credit) to new registered users through Oct. 3. After the free trial period, discounted subscriptions will cost $17 per month or $70 annually for regular users.

However, a subscription is not required. Ride fees without it are 50 cents per 15 minutes for the standard 7-speed bikes. A $1 unlock fee is required to ride an e-bike and is 10 cents per minute after that.

Students, faculty and staff of the Fayetteville Public Schools and University of Arkansas can pay $10 monthly or $35 per year. Subscriptions for low-income residents will be $4.99 per month or $28.99 annually.

Subscribers will receive unlimited one-hour rides. Overage fees will be 50 cents for every 15 additional minutes.

Riders can sign up for the program by downloading the VeoRide app. For more information on the program and fees, visit veoride.com.
